How he works

Four habits, and where each one shows

Each habit came from a job. Each one now shows in a website anyone can open. Tap a project to see it.

  1. 1 · Drill sites, 2011–2016

    Read what's underneath

One thin tube of soil speaks for a whole hillside. So before trusting a number, he asks who got counted and who got missed.

  2. 2 · Sherwood Digital, 2014–2025

Do the job before you teach it

He never hired someone for a job he hadn't done himself. He did it, wrote the steps down, then handed them off.

  3. 3 · CIK Power Telecom, 2016–2019

Watch the handoff, not the people

Every team did its job and work still went missing. The problem lives in the space between teams.

  4. 4 · Hope for Americans, 2024–now

Start from the person, not the product

Every site opens with a sentence a real person would say, like "We just got a diagnosis," and gives one next step.

What he says yes to

  • Free tools for neighbors

He likes building a website that answers the one question a congregation, a nonprofit or a town keeps hearing. It should open for free, right away, for whoever needs it that day.

  • Numbers a newsroom can check

He shares plain answers and data with shows, reporters and teachers, and he names every source.

  • Finding where work goes missing

Some processes are slow for no reason anyone can see. He watches the handoffs and writes down the fix.
